Garrett is an Associate with Rocky Point Engineering and brings over 10 years of experience as a mechanical design engineer and in project management. He is a registered Professional Engineer and has acted as Engineer of Record (EOR) for a large variety of different projects. Garrett is passionate about using mechanical systems to create sustainable solutions that enhance the experiences of building owners, operators and users. Garrett specializes in finding the optimal solutions for building systems that balance efficiency, functionality, sustainability, and cost using his expertise in building systems to achieve these goals. He has a strong understanding of mechanical system operation and controls with extensive experience with system retrofits/upgrades in existing buildings, particularly Hospitals and Post-secondary institutions, and uses this experience to find practical solutions for different projects.
