Coast Salish Elementary, formerly known as Sheffield Elementary, was constructed on a six-acre site at 3538 Sheffield Ave. The school has provided 430 student spaces to accommodate the growing population in the Burke Mountain area.

Project Scope:
  • A central heating/cooling plant with air-to-water heat pump supplemented by high efficiency condensing boilers for peak winter weather conditions;
  • Ventilation in the classrooms is achieved using unit ventilators and displacement ventilation combined with perimeter baseboard heating.
