The project involved the removal and replacement of the NS Secondary School Chiller Cooling Plant.  The existing 150 Ton indoor split air cooled chiller was removed and replaced with two indoor air source heat pumps, interconnected to the building chilled water infrastructure. 

In addition to improving the cooling plant reliability, the new heat pump system was interconnected to the building heating system, reducing overall natural gas consumption and lowering the building carbon footprint.
