The new Parkcrest Elementary School in Kamloops opened in September 2024.  The expanded school, which replaces the original school destroyed by fire in 2019, was  built to LEED gold standards, and provides 120 more student spaces in addition to the 390 spaces in the original school. The new school includes 18 Classrooms, 3 Kindergarten Rooms, gymnasium, and a Neighbourhood Learning Centre which can be used for childcare.

Project Scope:

  • Geothermal heating and cooling,
  • Variable speed pumping systems,
  • Future EV solar panels,
  • Ultra-low flow plumbing fixtures with a high performance envelope
