Aaron has 25 years of experience working on projects of all scales, including health care, institutional, and educational, including elementary, secondary, and post-secondary schools, and large and small commercial, recreational, industrial, and residential facilities. He has extensive knowledge and experience in fire protection engineering. He is known for providing high-efficiency and practical mechanical and fire protection system designs and works in an integrative approach with project teams to ensure a client’s economical target and project vision are met. He has a personal interest in environmental and sustainability issues and has been actively involved in moving projects toward greater sustainable design practices. As a LEED accredited professional, he has designed and participated in overseeing the construction of mechanical systems incorporating sustainable options such as hybrid mechanical-natural ventilation systems, high-efficiency heating/cooling plant and terminal unit design with geothermal options, stormwater retention, low water consumption buildings and targeting Net Zero energy use buildings.
