Mark is an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with over 25 years of experience in the field, specializing in institutional projects such as educational facilities, hospitals, laboratories, and recreational facilities, including pool design. He has expertise in HVAC systems, energy design, and fire protection engineering systems, and is responsible for the day-to-day development and creation of mechanical drawings, and his experience includes designing modern mechanical systems like air source heat pumps, high-efficiency boiler systems, hydronic piping design, and heat pump domestic hot water systems for institutional projects, particularly in the healthcare and university sectors throughout the province.
Mark is involved in all stages of a project, including detailed and conceptual mechanical design, budgeting, procurement and specifications, preparation and estimation of labour and materials, client negotiations, scheduling, project management, construction administration, and field reviews.
