The Ecole Hammond Bay Elementary two storey addition which connects to the existing school, includes ten standard classrooms, a specialized classroom, two collaboration spaces, one kindergarten classroom, a multi-purpose room and supporting service spaces.  The school addition increased the nominal capacity by 295 students, to a total of 475 + 60 Kindergarten children.

This building project received an Award of Merit in the 2024 Vancouver Island Commercial Building Awards.
